Up and Active

Often times, patients stay in bed too long. Caregivers can track the duration of time someone is in bed to monitor rehabilitation programs that require daily activity for faster recovery.

Exercising daily plays a crucial role in the process of healing and recovering from injury or disease. This is the goal of rehabilitation programs and physical therapy exercises. Time out of bed spent stretching and strengthening can accelerate the healing process.  Balance, joint control, and muscle re-training are difficult to achieve in bed.  For faster recovery, be up and active.
